Engineers of the VUB (free University Brussels) have exposed the first prototype of cuddle robot Probo.
Thanks to the most recent technologies, the green cuddly animal can show emotions, but also observe and react to its environment. Thanks to its soft fur and flexible stature it's a most cuddly animal.

Eventually, the robot will be used in hospitals to ease the pain of longtime hospitalised children. The public at large will get a glimpse of the robot during the robot contest RoboCup Junior on may 16th in Technopolis.
